The Buy Hardware page lists compatible POS hardware you can order as a one-time purchase.
Finding hardware that is compatible with your POS takes research.
Buy card readers and POS hardware from inside your dashboard. You need a Pludor store - free to create.
Open POS hardware from the POS screen in your dashboard, choose the item you need, press Order and complete checkout. When it arrives, add the reader in POS and run a small test charge. You need a Pludor store, which is free to create at pludor.com/setup.
Hardware is a one-time purchase, billed separately from your plan. The hardware page itself is open to every store, so you can browse compatible items without paying anything. Pludor's free Break-Even Calculator can also show how many sales it takes for new equipment to pay for itself.
The Buy Hardware page in your dashboard lists compatible POS hardware you can order as a one-time purchase. It only shows items that work with the POS, so you don't have to research compatibility yourself. You can also use a paired phone as a terminal instead of a dedicated reader.
First connect Stripe in Settings, then in POS choose Card Reader > Add Reader and enter the reader's registration code plus a label. Ring up the sale, choose the reader and press Charge. If a payment fails, retry or switch to QR or cash.
Yes. In POS choose Pair a Smart Terminal and scan the pairing QR code with the Smart Terminal app. This lets you accept card payments with a spare phone instead of buying a dedicated reader. You still need Stripe connected in Settings.
It depends on your sales volume, but you can check before spending anything. Enter the hardware cost and your margin in Pludor's free Break-Even Calculator to see how many sales it takes to break even. It's free and instant, with no account needed.
On Pludor, counter, kiosk, kitchen, tables and online orders all run on one catalog and one order list, with the same stock as your online store. Kiosk mode is built into the POS rather than a separate product, and you can use Stripe readers or a spare phone as a terminal. Staff clock-in and tips are included with the Scale plan rather than an add-on.

Configure them in the POS hardware settings inside your POS. Open Point of Sale from the Core Commerce menu on a tablet or computer, then connect the printer or drawer in the hardware settings. Also set staff PINs so each sale is attributed to who rang it up, and run the end-of-day report to reconcile cash and card totals.
Add the reader in POS, then run a small test charge to confirm it works before using it with customers. In POS choose Card Reader > Add Reader and enter the registration code and a label. If the test payment fails, retry or fall back to QR or cash.
