How do I install the Pludor plugin on WordPress?

Download it here, upload it in WordPress, then connect your free Pludor account.

1. Download the free plugin (a .zip file)
2. In WordPress go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin, choose the file and press Activate
3. Open a free Pludor account, then Settings > Pludor for WordPress > Generate API Key
4. Paste the key into Pludor > Settings in WordPress and press Save key

How do I add a free calculator or generator to my WordPress page?

Switch the tool on in Pludor > Tools, then add it to a page with the Pludor tool block or its shortcode. No code.

1. In Pludor > Tools, tick the tools you want (for example the invoice generator or QR code generator)
2. Edit any page and add the "Pludor tool" block, or paste the shortcode, e.g. [pludor_tool slug="invoice-generator"]
3. Publish: your visitors use the tool right on your page
4. Optional: set your accent colour and a daily limit for AI tools

How can I see if ChatGPT and other AI bots are reading my WordPress site?

Open Pludor > AI visibility. It lists each AI bot that loaded your pages (OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, Google, Meta and more), what each one is for, which pages it read and when it was last seen.

3. Check "AI bots reading your site" and "Pages AI bots read most"
4. If your site uses a page cache, treat the numbers as a minimum: cached pages never reach WordPress

How do I block AI bots from training on my content but still show up in ChatGPT?

In Pludor > AI visibility press "Allow AI search, block AI training". Search bots such as OAI-SearchBot and PerplexityBot stay allowed; training bots such as GPTBot, ClaudeBot and Google-Extended are blocked in your robots.txt.

1. Open Pludor > AI visibility
2. Press "Allow AI search, block AI training", or choose allow or block bot by bot
3. If your site has its own robots.txt file, the plugin keeps its lines in a marked part of it (or shows you the lines to paste)
4. Optional: tick "turn blocked bots away at the door" for bots that ignore robots.txt

How do I check if my WordPress site shows up in ChatGPT and AI search?

Open Pludor > AI visibility and press Check under AI assistants (GEO), AI answers (AEO) or AI agents for your home page, shop or any page of your site. Each check reads the page, gives it a score out of 100 and lists what to fix first. It uses one of your free monthly AI replies, then credits.

3. Press Check next to a page, or paste any page address from your site
4. Open "What to fix" and work through the list, then check again

How do I add an llms.txt file to my WordPress site?

In Pludor > AI visibility tick "Make my llms.txt". Pludor builds a plain guide to your site at /llms.txt - your pages, product categories and best sellers with prices, and recent posts - and keeps it up to date. If your site already has one (a file, Yoast or Rank Math), Pludor leaves it alone, and AI traffic shows which AI bots read it.

How do I know how many visitors and sales ChatGPT sends my site?

Pludor > AI visibility counts visitors who arrive from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Copilot and other assistants, the pages they land on, and, on WooCommerce, the orders and sales they bring (from WooCommerce's own order attribution).

How can I see what people search for on my WordPress site and don't find?

Open Pludor > Searches. It counts your search box and WooCommerce product search, lists the top searches and the ones that found nothing, with one click to add that product or write that page. Press "Show me what to add" and Pludor's AI groups the misses into a short list of products, pages and wording fixes (misspellings included).

In Pludor > Leads, turn on "ask for email" for a tool, before or after the result. Each visitor gets their result by email from your business name, the lead goes into your own Pludor contacts (never Pludor's lists), and you can add follow-up emails you write or Pludor drafts for you, with your address and one-click unsubscribe handled for you.

Can I charge visitors for AI tools on my website?

Yes. In Pludor > Tools give each AI tool a number of free runs a day, then sell run packs. Visitors pay by card through Pludor and you keep the price minus a 10% fee.

How do I get my WooCommerce products in front of AI shopping assistants?

In Pludor > Sell on Pludor, tick the products you want on the Pludor sales channel and choose where they show: Google Shopping, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Claude, Facebook and Instagram. Pludor publishes them in its product feed and to AI assistants that connect to Pludor.

Is the Pludor WordPress plugin free?

Yes. The plugin, the free tools, the AI traffic report and Website stats cost nothing. AI tools and the AI chat use your free monthly AI, then credits. Follow-up emails use your monthly free emails, then credits. Checkout takes Pludor's normal fee on paid orders.

Does it work without WooCommerce?

Yes. Tools, AI chat, AI traffic, Website stats, leads and Ask Pludor work on any WordPress site. Only checkout and Sell on Pludor need WooCommerce.

Is it on WordPress.org?

No. Download it from this page; it updates itself from pludor.com like any other plugin update, under Dashboard > Updates.

Will it slow my site down?

Tools load only on the pages where you place them. The AI traffic report adds nothing for normal visitors: bots are counted on the server, and a tiny script only reports visitors who came from an AI assistant.

Does it set cookies or need a cookie banner?

The tools and the AI traffic report set no cookies, and Website stats counts visitors without cookies.

Where is my data kept?

The AI traffic report stays in your own WordPress database. Tool runs, leads, chats and stats are kept in your Pludor account, and your leads are only ever yours.

Can I hide the "Made with Pludor" credit?

Yes, on any paid Pludor plan: tick White label in Pludor > Tools.

I build sites for clients. How should I set it up?

Install the plugin on each site with that client's own Pludor key, so usage and billing stay with the client. Choose "I build sites for clients" in Settings to get tips for agencies.
