1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Efghi LLC ("Efghi," "we," "us," or "our"), the company that operates the Pludor platform, collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you use pludor.com, the Pludor mobile application, and any related services (collectively, the "Service"). This Policy applies to all users of the Service, including buyers, sellers, creators, riders, and visitors.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Service. This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, username, password (stored in hashed form), and profile photo.
- Business/Seller Information: Business name, business address, tax identification information, and payout details, if you operate a storefront or sell on the marketplace.
- Identity Verification (KYC) Data: If you use features that require identity verification (such as wallet withdrawals or certain seller features), we collect government-issued identification documents and a live selfie for facial-match verification. Verification is valid for one year; verification images are automatically deleted once your verification expires or your account is deleted, whichever occurs first.
- Payment Information: When you fund your Pludor Wallet, make a purchase, or receive a payout, your card or bank details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor (Stripe). Pludor does not store full card numbers or bank account numbers on its own servers.
- Content You Create: Messages, posts, product listings, reviews, photos, videos, live streams, and other content you upload or submit through the Service.
- Communications: Information you provide when you contact customer support, respond to surveys, or otherwise communicate with us.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device and Usage Data: IP address, device identifiers, device model, operating system, app version, browser type, referring URLs, and information about how you interact with the Service (pages viewed, features used, crash and performance diagnostics).
- Location Data: With your permission, we collect precise or approximate location data to power features such as Sharing rides, delivery and courier tracking, and local storefront discovery. You can disable location access at any time through your device settings, though this may limit certain features.
- Push Notification Tokens: Used to deliver order updates, messages, and other notifications to your device.
- Cookies and Similar Technologies: On pludor.com, we use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, security, analytics, and to remember your preferences. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
2.3 Information From Third Parties
We may receive information about you from payment processors (such as confirmation that a payment succeeded), identity verification checks, and, where you choose to connect them, third-party services such as social login providers.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and maintain your account, and authenticate you when you sign in
- Process transactions, payments, payouts, and wallet transfers
- Verify your identity where required for financial features and fraud prevention
- Provide, operate, and improve the Service, including storefronts, marketplace, messaging, Wayfare, and AI features
- Send transactional communications (order confirmations, security alerts, support responses) and, where you have opted in, marketing communications
- Personalize content, recommendations, and search results
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- Comply with legal obligations, including tax, anti-money-laundering, and consumer protection laws
- Analyze usage trends to improve performance, reliability, and user experience
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: With vendors who perform services on our behalf, including Stripe (payment processing), cloud hosting and content delivery providers, push notification and analytics providers, and identity verification services. These providers are contractually restricted from using your information for any purpose other than providing services to Pludor.
- Other Users: Information you choose to make public (such as your storefront, listings, posts, or public profile) is visible to other users. In marketplace transactions, buyers and sellers exchange the information necessary to complete an order (such as name and delivery details).
- Legal Compliance: When required to comply with applicable law, legal process, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Pludor, our users, or the public.
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
- With Your Consent: In any other circumstances where you have given us explicit permission to share your information.
5. Payment and Financial Data
Payment card and bank transfer processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. Stripe's collection and use of your payment information is governed by Stripe's own privacy policy. Pludor retains transaction records (amounts, timestamps, wallet balances, and transfer history) as necessary to operate the Pludor Wallet, resolve disputes, and comply with financial recordkeeping obligations.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We may retain certain information for longer periods where required by law (for example, financial transaction records for tax and anti-fraud purposes) or to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Identity verification images are deleted upon expiry of your verification (one year) or upon account deletion, whichever comes first. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
6A. AI Assistant, Voice, Screen and Location
When you use Pludor's AI features (the "Ask Pludor" chat, voice, the floating button, "Hey Pludor", AI Studio):
- What you ask and what you share (text, photos, screenshots, videos) is sent to our servers and to the AI providers that process it for us - currently Cloudflare Workers AI (including models it hosts, such as Deepgram for voices), and, for answers that need live web information, the AI provider named in our list of service providers. They process it only to produce your answer and are not permitted to use it for other purposes. We do not use your conversations to train AI models.
- Chat history is saved on your device and, when you are signed in, in your account so it follows you between devices. It is tied to your account only: another person signing in on the same device or browser does not see it, and signing out of the phone app removes it from that phone. You can delete a chat at any time.
- Without an account: you can chat without signing up. Using the chat means you agree to our Terms and this Privacy Policy (the notice under the chat box says so). Your chat history then stays only in that browser or app on your device, and anything the assistant remembers is linked to an anonymous ID for that browser or app install (also used to count free messages) - not to your name. Anyone else using that same browser or app without signing in could see it; signing up keeps it tied to you.
- Memory: if the assistant remembers something you told it (for example "I'm vegetarian"), it shows you "Remembered" with an Undo, and you can ask it to forget anything or everything.
- Voice: when you talk to the assistant, the recording is sent to be turned into text and is not kept after that. Hands-free and "Hey Pludor" listening happen only when you turn them on: in the app while it is open, and over other apps only while the floating button is on - Android then shows its microphone indicator and a notification with "Stop listening". Listening for "Hey Pludor" uses your phone's own speech recognition service; only what you say after "Hey Pludor" is sent to Pludor.
- Screen: the floating button captures your screen only when you tap Screenshot or Ask about this screen, after you allowed screen sharing in Android. Screenshots are used to answer you and are not published or shared.
- Location: if you allow location, the app sends your approximate position with your questions so answers like the weather or "near me" are local. It is used for that answer and not sold or shared.
7. Data Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit, access controls, and regular security review of our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at [email protected].
8. Your Rights and Choices
- Access and Correction: You can review and update most of your account information directly within the app or website under account settings.
- Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information by contacting [email protected]. Some information may be retained where required by law, as described in Section 6.
- Marketing Communications: You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link included in those messages. You will still receive transactional messages related to your account and orders.
- Location and Push Permissions: You can enable or disable location access and push notifications at any time through your device settings.
- Residents of the EEA, UK, and Switzerland: You have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
- California Residents: Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. Pludor does not sell personal information. You will not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for users who are at least 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child, we will take steps to delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [email protected].
10. International Data Transfers
Pludor is based in the United States, and information we collect may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. Where required by applicable law, we implement appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers of personal information.
11. Third-Party Links and Services
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or integrate third-party services (such as payment processors, mapping providers, or social login providers). This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you interact with.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice (such as an in-app notification or email). Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
