End of Day summarises the day's POS sales by payment method, shows staff tips, lets you record staff pay-outs and prints a report for any date.
Reconciling cash, card and tips at closing time by hand is slow and error-prone.
Close the register with totals by payment type and staff payouts. You need a Pludor store - free to create.
In Pludor, open POS and tap End of Day, then pick the date you want to reconcile. Count your cash and compare it with the drawer total, record any staff tip or wage pay-outs, and print the report for your records. The report summarises the day's sales by payment method.
It's a closing-time summary of the day's sales, usually broken down by payment method (cash, card, etc.), so you can check the money in the drawer matches what was sold. It also lets you record tips or wages paid out to staff. Doing it daily catches cash errors and gives you a printable record for bookkeeping.
Enter your notes and coins and get an end-of-day total to match against your sales. Pludor has a free Cash Drawer Count (End of Day) tool that does this instantly, with no account needed. You can also do it inside Pludor's End of Day report if you have a store.
It's on for every store, including the Free plan, with a free amount every month. Past the monthly free amounts you pay only for what you use, in credits where 1 credit equals 1 cent. New stores also get 500 free credits when they open.
Add each staff member in Team Staff with their details and a POS PIN, then have them clock in on the POS at shift start. Their hours, wages and tips show under Hours, Wages & Tips in Team Staff. Use the Pay Out function to record when you actually hand over the money.
In Pludor, open Point of Sale from the Core Commerce menu on a tablet or computer, add staff with PINs so each sale is attributed correctly, then ring up sales by tapping products and taking cash or card. You can optionally connect a receipt printer or cash drawer in the POS hardware settings. A store is free to create at pludor.com/setup.
It depends on your setup. On Pludor, counter, kiosk, kitchen, tables and online orders run on one catalog and one order list, with the same stock as your online store, and staff clock-in and tips are included rather than an add-on. Card readers are Stripe readers, or you can use a spare phone as a terminal. Square, Toast and Clover typically need separate kiosk products or sync apps for online sales.
Yes. In Pludor's End of Day report you can pick any date, not just today, and print the report for it. This makes it easy to go back and reconcile a day you missed or re-print a report for your accountant.
Count the physical cash in the drawer and compare it with the cash total shown in your end-of-day report. If they don't match, check for unrecorded pay-outs, refunds or tips paid out during the day. Pludor's End of Day report shows totals by payment method and lets you record staff pay-outs so the numbers line up.
On Pludor, cash sales recorded in POS carry no platform fee. Paid online orders are charged 4.99% plus $0.90, deducted before payout, and card processing is charged separately by Stripe. Wallet-to-wallet transfers between Pludor users are also free.
