Pludor generates a payment QR for an amount or product; the customer scans it and pays by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Pludor wallet on their own phone. In POS the QR can be generated automatically after each payment.
Without a card reader you are stuck with cash or bank transfers you have to chase.
Show a QR code and let customers pay from their own phone. You need a Pludor store - free to create.
Use a QR scan-to-pay system: you show a QR code and the customer pays from their own phone with card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. With Pludor, choose QR / Scan to Pay in POS (or download a product QR from your dashboard), enter the amount, and show the code — no hardware needed. It works well for vendors, deliveries, home services and events.
You create a QR code for a product or a custom amount, the customer scans it with their phone camera, and they complete payment on their phone. On Pludor the flow is: choose QR / Scan to Pay, enter the amount and an optional note, show the code, the customer pays, and the sale appears in Orders and Finance. In POS the next QR can be generated automatically after each payment.
It's on for every store, including the Free plan at $0 with no item limit. Pludor charges a platform fee of 4.99% + $0.90 per paid online order, deducted before payout, and card processing is charged separately by Stripe. Cash sales recorded in POS carry no platform fee, and wallet-to-wallet transfers between Pludor users are free.
The customer just needs a phone with a camera and a data connection. They scan the code with their normal phone camera — no app download required — and pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Pludor wallet. That's the only real limitation of QR scan-to-pay.
Yes. Pludor lets you generate a QR for either a custom amount (with an optional note shown on the customer's payment page) or a specific product. You can also download product and store QR codes from your dashboard to print or share.
Connect Stripe in your store's Settings so card payments are paid out to your bank. On Pludor you can review Finance to see each payment, the fee deducted and your payouts in one place. The platform fee is deducted before payout; card processing is charged separately by Stripe.
Yes — the customer enters payment details on their own phone through a standard checkout (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or wallet), not on your device. Connect Stripe in Settings so payments are processed by the card processor and paid out to your bank. Take a test order on yourself first to see the full checkout and confirmation email before going live.
With most tools, online links, invoices and QR payments are separate products with separate dashboards. On Pludor, one checkout powers online, QR and invoice payments, and everything shares a single order history and payout view in Finance. Pludor also adds a buyer wallet with balance, cashback and gift cards at checkout, which those tools typically don't offer.
Yes — QR scan-to-pay is built exactly for vendors without a card reader, plus deliveries, home services and events. Set up a free Pludor store, open POS on a tablet or phone, and choose QR / Scan to Pay for each sale; the next QR can be generated automatically after each payment. Cash sales you record in POS carry no platform fee.
You need a Pludor store, which is free to create at pludor.com/setup with no card required. QR Scan-to-Pay is on for every store including the Free plan, and new stores get 500 free credits.
