Common questions

How do I message a seller on Pludor?

Open the Messages tab in the app or go to pludor.com/me/messages, then message the seller from their product page. You can also open an order and message the seller about it directly from there. No phone numbers are exchanged - everything stays in the app.

Is Pludor Messages & Calls free to use?

Yes, it's free for shoppers - a free Pludor account is all you need. New stores also get 500 free credits for Pludor's tools and AI. There's no card required to start.

Can I make voice or video calls without giving someone my phone number?

Yes. Pludor's in-app voice and video calls work entirely inside the platform, so you never share your phone number. Just tap the call icon in a chat. Note that calls need both people to be on a data connection.

How do I start a chat with someone on Pludor?

Open Messages at pludor.com/me/messages or the Messages tab in the app, then either message a seller from a product page or search for the person you want to reach. Contact matching helps you find people you already know. Long-press a message to react to it, and use search to find old messages.

Do I need a paid plan to use Pludor messaging?

No. Messaging and calls are free with a free Pludor account. Paid plans are optional bundles of credits for heavier store usage - they aren't required to chat or call.

Can I talk to a buyer about their order without switching to WhatsApp?

Yes. Open the order in your Pludor account and message the buyer directly from it, so the conversation keeps the order context. Moving to another app loses that context and exposes personal phone numbers. If you do use WhatsApp too, Pludor's Inbox can connect WhatsApp, SMS and email conversations in one place.

What are the limitations of Pludor Messages & Calls?

The main limitation is that calls need both people to be on a data connection. Beyond that, you get direct messages, voice and video calls, reactions, typing and presence indicators, message search and contact matching. It's designed for buyers, sellers, friends and Wayfare riders and drivers.

How do I find people I know on Pludor?

Use contact matching, which helps you find people you already know on the platform. You can also search for a person directly from the Messages tab. Once found, start a chat and tap the call icon if you want voice or video.

Can I manage Pludor chats together with WhatsApp and email in one place?

Yes. Pludor's CRM, Inbox & Outreach puts WhatsApp, SMS, email and chat conversations in one inbox, newest first. You can save quick-reply templates, track leads from new to won, and set Nudges for follow-up reminders. Connect your channels under Channels in the Operations menu.

Is Pludor Messages safe for buying and selling online?

Chats and calls stay in the app, so you never have to share your personal phone number with a buyer or seller. Conversations tied to an order keep the order context, which helps if there's a dispute. Pludor also includes seller verification for stores on the platform.
