Tables lets you add tables with a number and capacity and download a QR code for each; guests scan, order from your menu and the order is tagged with their table.
Guests wait for a server to order and again to pay.
5 steps, in this order. Each one is explained in the step-by-step guide.
Create a free Pludor store, then open Tables in the Core Commerce menu. Enter each table's number and capacity, press Add Table, then press QR to download that table's code. Print it and place it on the table - orders arrive in Orders and Kitchen tagged with the table number.
It's a system where each table has its own QR code that guests scan to view your menu, order, and pay from their phone. Each order is tagged with the table number so staff know where it came from. It removes the wait for a server to order and again to pay.
On Pludor it's on for every store, including the Free plan at $0 with no item limit. Paid online orders carry a platform fee of 4.99% + $0.90, deducted before payout, and card processing is charged separately by Stripe. Cash sales recorded in POS carry no platform fee.
One per table is best, because each code tags orders with that table's number. In Pludor's Tables tool you add each table with its number and capacity and download a separate QR code for each. That way the kitchen and servers know exactly where every order came from.
Yes. With QR table ordering, guests scan the code with their phone camera and your menu opens in the browser - no app needed. They order and pay right from their phone, and the order arrives tagged with their table number.
For in-restaurant dining, QR ordering is direct - orders come straight to you, not through a delivery app that takes a commission per order. On Pludor, direct orders carry the standard platform fee instead. You also get kitchen display, reservations, and waitlist on the same system rather than juggling separate apps.
Yes. In Pludor, open Kitchen on your prep-station screen and new tickets appear as orders arrive. Turn on sound alerts for new orders, and auto-print if you have a printer connected. Tap a ticket's status button to move it forward through prep.
Add your dishes in Products and use modifiers for sizes and add-ons. Once the menu is built, the same items show up when guests scan the table QR code. Pludor's free Digital Menu Writer tool can help you build the menu before you open a store.
It works for restaurants, bars, and hotels - anywhere guests sit at numbered tables. It's most useful where the main bottleneck is guests waiting for a server to order and again to pay. You can pair it with reservations and a waitlist if you also manage bookings and walk-ins.
In Pludor, set your store category to Food & Restaurant to turn on Reservations and Waitlist alongside Tables. Enter reservations with name, phone, party size, and date/time, and add walk-ins to the Waitlist with a quoted wait - then press Text Ready to send an SMS when their table is free.
