Pludor POS splits a check evenly into any number of ways, adds 10%, 15%, 20% or custom tips, takes a table number, and tags each sale as dine-in, pickup or delivery - with cash, card, card-by-phone or Pludor wallet payment.
Groups want separate bills and tips, and dine-in, pickup and delivery orders need different handling.
5 steps, in this order. Each one is explained in the step-by-step guide.
In Pludor POS, tap Split Check and enter how many ways - the check is split evenly into any number of parts. Then charge each person separately by card, cash or Pludor wallet. If you're on another system, look for a split-by-guest or split-evenly option in your POS checkout screen.
In Pludor POS, tap a tip preset of 10%, 15% or 20%, or enter a custom amount, before taking payment. The tip is added to the check automatically. Most modern POS systems offer similar preset buttons on the payment screen.
Give each staff member their own POS PIN so every sale is attributed to who rang it up. In Pludor, open Hours, Wages & Tips in Team Staff to see hours, wages and tips per person, and use Pay Out to record tip payouts. Staff clock in on the POS at the start of each shift.
You need a POS that tags each sale with an order type so reporting and prep flow differ correctly. In Pludor POS, you choose Dine-in, Pickup or Delivery when ringing up the order, and dine-in orders can carry a table number. Everything runs on one catalog and one order list alongside your online store.
On Pludor, no - Split Check, Tips & Order Types is on for every store, including the Free plan. You get a free amount of usage every month and pay only for what you use past that, in credits (1 credit = 1 cent). Some other POS vendors charge extra for advanced checkout features, so check before committing.
Create a free Pludor store at pludor.com/setup, then open Point of Sale in the Core Commerce menu on a tablet or computer. Add staff with PINs, ring up sales by tapping products, optionally connect a receipt printer or cash drawer, and run the end-of-day report to reconcile cash and card totals.
Yes - in Pludor's Restaurant Tools, create tables and download a QR code for each one. Customers scan to order, and tickets appear on the Kitchen screen as orders arrive. Set your store category to Food & Restaurant in Settings to turn on Kitchen, Tables, Reservations and Waitlist.
Pludor POS supports card-by-phone as a payment method, so you can take a customer's card details for a pickup order. You can also charge via the Pludor wallet. Tag the sale as Pickup when ringing it up so it's handled differently from dine-in orders.
On Pludor, counter, kiosk, kitchen, tables and online orders run on one catalog and one order list - no separate kiosk product or sync app needed. You can use Stripe readers or a spare phone as a terminal instead of vendor-specific hardware. Staff clock-in and tips are included rather than an add-on.
Pludor's Split Check splits a check evenly into any number of ways - for uneven splits, you'd ring up each person's items as separate sales instead. There's also a custom-amount sale option for charging a specific figure. For tip flexibility, you can use 10%, 15%, 20% presets or a custom amount.
