Common questions

How do I get my money out of my online store and into my bank account?

You request a payout from your store's finance area to a saved bank account or PayPal. On Pludor, open Finance (Core Commerce > Finance), save your bank routing details or PayPal email, then press Request Payout / Cash Out and pick your transfer speed. Payouts require bank or PayPal details saved first.

How do I download my 1099 form for my online sales?

Your platform stores your W-9 taxpayer profile and generates a Form 1099-NEC for each tax year. On Pludor, complete the Taxpayer Profile (W-9) in Finance, then choose the tax year and press Download 1099 PDF. You need a store first, which is free to create.

Do I need to fill out a W-9 to get paid as a seller?

Yes, if you're a US seller requesting payouts you should complete a W-9 taxpayer profile so the platform can issue your 1099-NEC. On Pludor, you enter it once in Finance under the Taxpayer Profile, and it's used for your year-end 1099-NEC download. It's aimed at sellers and creators in the US.

How much does Pludor take out of each sale before paying me?

Pludor charges a platform fee of 4.99% + $0.90 per paid online order, deducted before payout. Card processing is charged separately by Stripe. Cash sales recorded in POS carry no platform fee, and wallet-to-wallet transfers between Pludor users are free.

Can I get paid to PayPal instead of a bank account?

Yes, Pludor supports payouts to either a bank account or PayPal. Save your PayPal email (or bank routing details) in Finance, then request a payout and choose your transfer speed. You can switch or update the payout details there anytime.

Is the payouts and tax features included in the free plan or do I have to pay extra?

Every feature is on for every store, including the Free plan at $0 with no item limit. Payouts, the W-9 profile and 1099-NEC downloads are all included. You only pay for what you use past the monthly free amounts, plus the per-order platform fee on paid online orders.

Where can I see how much money I actually have available to withdraw?

Your platform's finance or payments dashboard shows your balance. On Pludor, the Finance view shows the balance available for payout plus revenue broken down by sales channel, along with fees deducted and your payout request history. Open it at Core Commerce > Finance.

How do I verify my identity so I can receive payouts?

Most platforms require an identity (KYC) check before releasing payouts. On Pludor, go to pludor.com/me/wallet and choose verify: Tier 1 is your name, address and tax ID, Tier 2 is a government ID scan and selfie. Most checks are automatic, and you renew yearly when prompted.

How is Pludor different from just using Stripe Payment Links or PayPal for getting paid?

With separate tools, your links, invoices and QR payments live in different places and money shows up only in the processor dashboard. On Pludor, one checkout powers online, QR and invoice payments, and the Finance view shows fees, payouts, your W-9 and 1099 together. It also adds a buyer wallet with balance, cashback and gift cards at checkout.

Do I need to do anything special to get my 1099-NEC at tax time?

Just make sure your W-9 taxpayer profile is complete before the tax year ends. On Pludor, fill it in under Finance once, and at tax time you pick the tax year and download the 1099-NEC as a PDF yourself. There's also a free Sales Tax Calculator on Pludor if you need to work out sales tax on a price.
