Free church website builder - service times, events, livestream and tickets

A church website should welcome a first-time visitor: service times and address, what to expect, events, a livestream and a way to get in touch. Pludor builds that free in about a minute - describe your church and it writes the site with your services and events, and sells tickets for conferences and retreats. No monthly website fee.

What a church website needs

Six things decide whether a visitor becomes a customer. Pludor builds each one in for churches.

What a church website looks like on Pludor

The top of the page says who you are and has one clear button - Plan your visit. Below it, your times and events with prices, then your hours, where to find you, your photos and what customers say.

An example layout for a made-up church. Yours is written from what you type, with your own name, prices and photos, and you can change anything by saying it - "make the colours warmer", "put my phone number at the top".

Questions churches ask about websites

What is the best free church website builder?

One that covers service times, events and livestream without a monthly website fee. Pludor builds it free; church platforms like Tithe.ly Sites cost $19/mo for the website.

Can people give online through our church website?

Pludor does not have a donations feature yet - link the giving service you already use from a clear Give button. Tickets for conferences, retreats and events are paid on Pludor itself.

What should a church website include?

Service times and address at the top, a plan-your-visit section, events, groups, livestream and sermons, giving, and contact details.

Can we post events and sell tickets for conferences?

Yes, list events and sell tickets for conferences or retreats from the same site.

How much does a church website cost?

$0 to start on Pludor; church platforms charge a monthly fee - Tithe.ly Sites, for example, is $19 a month.

Can volunteers update it?

Yes - it's edited from a phone, no technical skills needed.

Can we stream services?

Add your livestream link, or go live from Pludor.

How do we help new visitors find us on Google?

Keep your service times and address as text on the page and link the site from your Google Business Profile.

Is there a monthly fee for the church website?

No. Building, previewing and publishing the website is free, and there is no monthly fee for the website. Pludor charges 4.99% + $0.90 only when a customer pays online for a paid order, and card processing is charged separately by the processor.

Do I have to pay for hosting or a domain name?

No - hosting is included free at your own Pludor address. A domain name is optional and is paid to your registrar (usually $10-20 a year) when you want yourname.com instead; you can connect one at any time.

Is the free church website really free - what is the catch?

There is no catch and no card to start: the website, hosting and event pages and tickets are free. Pludor earns 4.99% + $0.90 when a customer pays online, and AI features beyond the free monthly amounts use credits (1 credit = 1 cent).

Can I edit my church website myself after it is built?

Yes. Open it in the builder and tap any text, photo, price or button to change it, or just say what you want ("put my phone number at the top"). Changes show on the live site straight away - no developer and no support ticket.

Does the website work on phones?

Yes - it is built mobile first. Most local searches happen on a phone, so the layout, the tap-to-call button and the order flow are designed for a small screen before anything else.

What do I need ready before I start?

Your church name and one sentence about what you do - that is enough for the first version. Prices, photos, hours and your area can be added straight after; the AI writes the pages from what you give it.

Can I add or change my prices later?

Yes. Prices, services, packages and availability are edited from your phone in seconds and the website updates at once.

Will my church website show up when people ask ChatGPT or Google for a church?

The pages are clean HTML with your services, prices and area as real text, plus structured data and a sitemap, which is what Google and AI assistants read. Publish it, add the link to your Google Business Profile, and collect reviews - those three do most of the work.

What happens to my website if I stop using Pludor?

Your words and photos are yours - copy them out at any time. The free Pludor address and hosting stop when the account is closed; if you connected your own domain, point it at your new host. That is why we suggest connecting a domain once the site is earning.

How do I add photos from my phone?

Take the photo with your phone and add it in the builder, or upload the ones you already have - iPhone (HEIC) and newer Android photos included, they are converted for the web automatically. AI can tidy the background and light so phone photos look like product shots.

I designed my website but did not publish it - is it saved?

Yes. Your design is kept: open the website builder again while signed in and it is there, ready to check. Press "Make it live - free" to publish it, or tap anything to change it first.

Can customers pay me with mobile money or cash?

Yes. Next to card payments you can show MoMo, M-Pesa, Vodafone Cash, PayPal, Cash App, a bank transfer or cash on delivery at checkout. The customer pays you directly and you mark the order paid when the money arrives.

Will prices show in my own currency?

Yes. Your church sells in your own currency - it is set from the country you open in, and you can change it in Settings at any time.
