Enable your store's affiliate program in Settings: set percentage or fixed commission, cookie duration, minimum payout and a welcome message. Your store then appears in the Monetize Hub where customers join and share referral links.
Running an affiliate program normally needs a separate affiliate app.
5 steps, in this order. Each one is explained in the step-by-step guide.
Normally you'd install a separate affiliate app, but if you use Pludor it's built in. Open Settings > Affiliate Program, tick Enable, then set your commission type and rate, cookie duration, minimum payout and an optional welcome message. Save, and your store appears in the Monetize Hub where customers can join and share referral links.
There's no one right number - it depends on your margins and how much a referral is worth to you. Most stores pick either a percentage of the sale or a fixed amount per order. In Pludor you can choose either type and change it later in Settings > Affiliate Program.
The affiliate feature itself is on for every store, including the Free plan at $0 with no item limit. Pludor charges a platform fee of 4.99% + $0.90 per paid online order, deducted before payout, and card processing is charged separately by Stripe. Past the monthly free amounts, you pay only for what you use in credits (1 credit = 1 cent).
Cookie duration is how long after someone clicks an affiliate's link that the affiliate still gets credit for the sale. A longer window credits affiliates for slower buyers; a shorter one keeps attribution tight. In Pludor you set it alongside your commission rate in Settings > Affiliate Program.
Once you enable the program, your store is listed in Pludor's Monetize Hub, where customers can join and grab their referral links. You can also write a welcome message that greets new affiliates when they sign up. Then just invite your best customers to join.
On most platforms, yes - running an affiliate program usually means adding a separate affiliate app. On Pludor it's built into every store, so you enable it in Settings and skip the extra subscription. It's included even on the free plan.
Affiliates are usually your own customers sharing referral links for commission, while UGC creators make content like videos promoting your products. Pludor supports both: the affiliate program for referral links, and UGC Promoted Products plus Hire a Creator in the Content & Creator menu for commission-based creator content. You can run both together and track attributed sales in one place.
A minimum payout is the earnings threshold an affiliate must reach before you actually pay them - it saves you from processing lots of tiny payments. Set it high enough to be practical but low enough that affiliates don't get discouraged. In Pludor you set it in Settings > Affiliate Program along with your commission rate.
Describe your product and the offer in plain words, then trim it to something short enough to paste into a post or caption. Pludor has a free Ad Copy Generator that turns your product description into ready-to-share copy - you can try it without an account. Affiliates can then share that text with their referral links.
Yes, if you have loyal customers who already talk about you - you only pay commission when a sale actually happens. It works especially well for stores with repeat buyers or brands working with micro-influencers. On Pludor it costs nothing extra to switch on, so you can test it and see if referrals move the needle.
