Common questions

What is a pack list or pick list and why do I need one?

A pack list (or pick list) totals every item needed across a group of orders, so you can pick all stock in one pass instead of walking to the shelf once per order. It usually comes with a per-order breakdown so you know exactly what goes in each box. It saves the most time for stores shipping many orders a day, like meal-prep and bakeries.

How do I create a pick list for multiple orders at once?

Filter your orders by whatever matters that day - status, zone, batch or date range - then generate one aggregated list of every item to pick. In Pludor, open Pack List in the Operations menu, set your filters, and it totals everything across the filtered orders with a per-order breakdown you can print.

What's the best way to organize picking and packing when I get lots of orders a day?

Pick in batches, not order by order. Total all items across the day's orders, grab everything in one trip, then pack each order from the per-order breakdown. Pludor's Pack List is built exactly for this: it aggregates your filtered orders and prints a list for the packing table.

Can I print a packing slip for free without signing up for anything?

Yes. Pludor has a free Packing Slip Generator - add the order details and get a slip your team can pick and pack from, instantly, with no account needed. If you later open a free Pludor store, you also get 500 free credits for its tools and AI.

How much does Pludor's Pack List cost?

It's on for every store, including the Free plan at $0 with no item limit. Each month a free amount of everything is included (for example 3,000 visits and 100 AI replies); past that you pay only for what you use, in credits, where 1 credit equals 1 cent. New stores get 500 free credits.

How do I set up shipping and order statuses to go with my pack list?

In Pludor, open Orders in the Core Commerce menu, then set up your shipping zones and rates (or enable pickup) under Shipping. Print your pack list to see everything to pack today grouped by product, then move each order through packed, shipped/out for delivery and delivered - the buyer is notified at each step. You can also export orders for accounting.

Can I sort my pick list by delivery zone or batch?

Yes - that's the point of filtering. Pludor's Pack List lets you filter by status, zone, batch and date range, so you can pick and pack everything for one delivery run together. If you do local deliveries, you can assign orders or batches to drivers in the Deliveries menu and mark them out for delivery, then delivered.

Is Pludor free to start, or will my store switch off if I run out of credits?

Your store, website, product pages, checkout and orders never switch off for lack of credit. The Free plan is $0 with no item limit, every feature is on, and you only pay for what you use past the monthly free amounts. Pludor charges a platform fee of 4.99% + $0.90 per paid online order, deducted before payout; card processing is charged separately by Stripe.

Do I have to pay a fee on every order if I use Pludor?

Pludor charges 4.99% + $0.90 per paid online order, deducted before payout, and Stripe charges card processing separately. Cash sales recorded in POS carry no platform fee, and wallet-to-wallet transfers between Pludor users are free. So in-person cash sales avoid the platform fee entirely.

What kind of business benefits most from a pick list?

Stores shipping many orders a day, plus meal-prep services and bakeries - anywhere the same products go into many different orders. The aggregated pick list cuts wasted trips to the shelf, and the per-order breakdown keeps packing accurate. Pludor's Pack List is on for every store, including the Free plan.
